  3. 11/29/94 - rev 2.0B - Fixed problem with ATSETUP.EXE not asking for the
  4.                       directory to save failed uploads to.

  6. 12/04/94 - rev 2.1A - Fixed bug with some PKLite files being detected as
  7.                       self extracting PKZip files.  Rewrote much of
  8.                       ATSETUP.EXE and changed CFG files over to binary type
  9.                       files.  Makes for easier setup and maintenance of
  10.                       ArcTest.  Created EXTRACT program (see doc file).
  11.                       Fixed bug with LHA not overwriting files on
  12.                       extraction of internal archives.  Found problem with
  13.                       LHA v1.13, will not delete bbs adds from a adds file
  14.                       that is located on a network drive.  This is not a
  15.                       problem with ArcTest but rather with LHA 1.13.  Added
  16.                       option to reboot computer on detection of virus.
  17.                       Fixed problem of archive commenting not happening
  18.                       in all cases when adding file_id.diz file to comment.

  20. 12/05/94 - rev 2.1B - Fixed bug if commenting FILE_ID.DIZ was set to on but
  21.                       FILE_ID.DIZ did not exist in archive ArcTest was not
  22.                       commenting the file.

  24. 12/25/94 - rev 2.1C - Fixed problem with picking up some SFX files.  If an
  25.                       archive contained only TXT, BAT or DOC files ArcTest
  26.                       was failing the file on date testing, this has been
  27.                       fixed.  Added ExtraClean option for use with
  28.                       DizClean.  Extra cleaning will remove more unwanted
  29.                       ASCII characters, blank lines, and get rid of
  30.                       unwanted spaces and useless characters in DIZ files.
  31.                       Rewrote ATSETUP.EXE program.  ATSETUP now uses
  32.                       lightbars for easier setup.  If a file failes testing
  33.                       and the file is to be saved ArcTest now tries to move
  34.                       the file first, instead of copying.  If the file
  35.                       already exists or is to be moved to another drive
  36.                       then ArcTest will copy the file.  A problem with
  37.                       PKZip v2.04g is also noted: if a zip file is password
  38.                       protected ArcTest will fail it when doing CRC testing
  39.                       even though the archive is NOT corrupt.  This is
  40.                       because PKZip returns the SAME error level for broken
  41.                       files as it does for testing password protected
  42.                       files.  There is no fix or work around available at
  43.                       this time.  CONVERT.EXE was also created for this
  44.                       release.  CONVERT will convert ArcTest version 2.1B
  45.                       files to version 2.1C files.  CONVERT WILL NOT WORK
  46.                       ON CFG FILES PRIOR TO V2.1B!!!

  50. 02/05/95 - rev 2.1E - Added option to do file_id.diz cleaning from Extract!
  51.                       instead of from ArcTest.  This allows you to have a
  52.                       cleaned file_id.diz (or DESC.SDI) in your file
  53.                       listing but the original description file in the
  54.                       archive is maintained.

  56. 04/02/95 - rev 2.2A - Fixed bug with some virus scanners not being run
  57.                       properly.  Fixed problem with virus scan types not
  58.                       being centered in archive comments.  Added ability to
  59.                       convert GIF -> JPG and JPG -> GIF files.  Also added
  60.                       abliltiy to convert PKZip SFX files to their base
  61.                       (ZIP) format.

  63. 04/04/95 - rev 2.2B - Fixed 2 bugs: 1) virus scanners were being run with
  64.                       the detection of nested GIF and JPG files.  2)
  65.                       Archives with nested files smaller than 40bytes were
  66.                       not being closed properly thus causing ArcTest to run
  67.                       out of file handles.

  69. 05/04/95 - rev 2.3A - ArcTest now converts all supported archives to a
  70.                       choosen format.  Added option to add 3 directories
  71.                       that ArcTest will not test files from.  Also added
  72.                       full support for RAR compression.  And added limited
  73.                       support for ZOO compression.

  75. 7/10/95 - rev 2.4A  - Added option for users to send email to users when
  76.                       there uploads fail CRC, Virus, or date testing.  Also
  77.                       changed the modem routines to support fossil drivers
  78.                       locked above 38.4k.

  81.                        or jpeg file was not being checked for.
